Our Mission and Purpose
HEMI PREP's purpose is to expand the HEMI program by providing mentors to Hamilton County foster youth in Cincinnati Public high schools so that they are prioritizing resiliency, education, and preparation earlier to pave the way for improved academic outcomes.
Program Details
HEMI PREP is a mentoring program for high school students grades 9-12 in Cincinnati Public Schools. Mentors address the five Community Connectors Core Principles with their mentee throughout the school year to ensure timly graduation and to better prepare students for life after high school graduation.
The five Core Principles are:
1) 21st Century Careers
2) Character Counts!
3)Pathways to Achievement
4) Developmental Assets
5) Building a Positive Future
